Laco Teren: When I was painting this, I remembered how we were together with Mira (Mira Brunner) visiting John Giorno in his house in the Bowery. Mira was asking John about some Buddhist new year celebrations. I just listened to the interesting dialogue. ‘Don’t Wait for Anything’ is a poster poem from John.
