About Shruthi Rao

Shruthi Rao is a writer of short fiction and non-fiction.Several of her stories have won awards, the most recent being the DNA-Out of Print Short Fiction 2014 award. One of her prize-winning children's stories was converted into a picture book. Her stories have been published in Open Road Review, Papercuts, Earthen Lamp Journal, Helter Skelter, DNA's Just Before Monday and Deccan Herald, among others. Her articles on travel, education, lifestyle and parenting have appeared in Mint Lounge, Deccan Herald, The Hindu, Complete Wellbeing and Women's Web.
