About Shabnam Nadiya

Shabnam Nadiya grew up in Jahangirnagar, a small college campus in Bangladesh. She completed her MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop in 2012, and is currently working on her collection titled Pye Dogs and Magic Men: Stories and on translating the novel Beloved Rongomala by Shaheen Akhtar. Her work has appeared in Five Chapters, Copper Nickel, Gulf Coast, Words Without Borders, among others.
