About Padmini Sankar
Padmini Sankar writes both novels and short stories. Padmini’s stories have been shortlisted in international competitions, with a crime story published in the CWA Arabian Noir anthology, and a historical story published in the Dorothy Dunnett Society’s HWA anthology. The screen rights of her debut novel, The Mother of all Parties, HarperCollins India, 2020, have been acquired by a well-known book-to-screen agency. Her latest, a middle-grade novel titled Zara and the Bumbling Genie, has just been published by Om Books International. Apart from writing, Padmini enjoys reading, cooking (she claims to make the best gunpowder masala in town) and travelling.
