About Gankhu Sumnyan

Gankhu Sumnyan teaches English at a government college in Arunachal Pradesh. His story ‘Local’ was selected for The Best Asian Short Stories 2021 anthology by Kitaab, Singapore. Other stories, ‘Obsession,’ ‘Son of the Soil,’ and ‘Caring’, were published in Gulmohar Quarterly ,East Side Story, and Cafe Dissensus respectively. His poetry book Old Friends' Parade,Writers Workshop, 2015, was shortlisted for the Satish Verma Young Writers' Award 2015.
