Ranjeeta Kumari who is from Patna in Bihar now lives and works in New Delhi. She received a BFA in painting from the College of Arts and Crafts Patna, Patna University in 2008. In 2012 she was a Gold Medallist in Art Appreciation a course offered by the National Museum, New Delhi. She has completed a research-based MFA from Shiv Nadar University, Noida. She is the recipient of many awards for her work, and has participated in numerous group shows including River with a Thousand Holes curated by Sumesh Sharma at Clark House Initiative, 2016, a show that included her solo piece, ‘Hashiya’ that was shown at the Kiran Nadar Museum.
