Anju Dodiya, born 1964, lives and works in Mumbai. Her work explores the representation of the self as an investigator in the labyrinth of art and life. She connects with the precise crafting of pain in Sylvia Plath’s poetry. In All Night I Shall Gallop, a 2008 exhibition, fragments of Plath’s text intercept the images. Her work was included in the 53rd Venice Biennale, 2009.
